Augusta catcher Hugo Rampley was instrumental in his team's 7-6 win over the Tortolita Drummers. Rampley, who is tied for 6th in the SAAA in home runs with 11, went 3-5 with 1 run scored to lead the offensive attack for the Timber Hawks. Rodrigo Rangel finished the game for Augusta and earned his 19th save. Tortolita has now lost 4 straight.

The most important at-bat came in the top of the tenth inning. With no one out, Ron Anderson threw a first pitch curveball to Rampley, which he hit to left for a solo home run. It put Augusta in front, 7-6.

"Exciting game to play in," said Rampley. "Getting the win makes it even better."
