Multi-HR Day for Tanner as Express Overpower Thundercats, 9-7

Nathan Tanner added some punch to the Wizarding offense, helping them outmuscle the Richardson City Thundercats, 9-7. In the game, Tanner slugged 2 home runs, while adding 5 RBI and scoring twice. Enrico Reséndez earned the save for Wizarding, his 2nd of the year. Losses have been few and far between for the Thundercats, who are now 5-1.
The most important at-bat came in the top of the ninth inning. With one out, Dave Reed threw a 1-0 changeup to Tanner, which he hit to right for a 3-run home run. It put Wizarding in front, 8-7.
"It wasn't a pretty victory," said Tanner, "but we got it done."
