Quintana Excels in Jersey City Win
The Jersey City Sun Caps beat the Tortolita Drummers, 7-5, at Jersey City Grounds. The Sun Caps got a fine performance from first baseman Tony Quintana, who captured player of the game honors. He went 3-4 with 2 home runs and a walk. He scored 3 times and drove in 2. With the victory, the Sun Caps record now stands at 40-41.

Jersey City took a 6-5 lead in the bottom of the seventh inning, when Bryan Wilson hit a clutch 3-run home run to bring Sun Caps fans to their feet.

"Baseball is about momentum," said Quintana, "and we feel we've got it in our favor after that win."
