BC Get One-Run Win at Phoenix
The Houston BC had to overcome a big game from Phoenix shortstop Luis Díaz to leave Thunderbirds Stadium with a 8-4 victory. Díaz went 3-5 with a home run and 2 singles. He drove in 3 runs and scored once. Millard Taylor got credit for the win, improving to 7-4. He allowed 4 runs on 6 hits in 6.1 innings. Houston is now 43-34, Phoenix 52-25.

Dennis Morrow helped his team jump on top from the get-go. His first time up in the top of the first, he cranked a grand slam home run to give Houston a 4-0 lead.

"There's never a lack of effort in our clubhouse. We're willing to do the little things to get the win," Morrow told the Houston News.
