Center Fielder Prifti goes 4-for-5 in Win
|
Riding the 4-hit performance of the 19-year old center fielder Vinski Prifti, the Pennsauken Flyers stymied the Jersey City Sun Caps, 6-1. Pennsauken starter Seong-rae Park was credited with the win after throwing 107 pitches over 6.2 innings. His record now stands at 6-4. The Flyers move to 39-36 with the win, while the Sun Caps drop to 38-37.
With Pennsauken leading 2-0 in the top of the fourth, Prifti hit a sinker from Ricardo Rodríguez for a 2-run double. It was his 16th double of the season and put the Flyers ahead, 4-0.
"Like I've always said, I'm the straw that stirs the drink," Prifti said (again).
