Victory Over Hotspur Reserves Takes Alloway to 42-28
|
The Alloway Halberds got a strong performance from pitcher Jeff Hale, who stymied the Phoenix offense en route to a 4-2 win at Ballpark of Alloway. The Halberds improved to a lofty 42-28 mark.
Upata, Venezuela-born Esteban Casillas came through in the clutch. In the bottom of the third, with runners on 2nd and 3rd and the Halberds trailing 1-0, he hit a 3-run home run to right-center to put Alloway on top.
"We'll put this win in our pocket and go after the next one," said Casillas.
