Drummers Knock Off Houston at Houston Park

The Tortolita Drummers defeated the Houston BC, 5-3, in USSL Triple A action at Houston Park, with Tortolita pitcher Anastasio Enríquez named player of the game. Ron Anderson was credited with the save for Tortolita, his 2nd of the season. The 8th-place Drummers raised their record to 32-37.
In the top of the seventh, Blair Sweeny had a big 2-run single off Shawn Arnold. With the single, the Tortolita catcher put his team in front, 4-2. He went 2 for 4 with 2 singles, while adding 3 RBI in the contest.
"For the most part, I made good pitches when I needed to," said Enríquez.
