The Houston BC eeked out a 6-5 win versus the Tortolita Drummers at Houston Park. Nobody did more than pitcher Bryan Palmer, who captured player of the game honors. Tortolita has now lost 4 consecutive games.

In the bottom of the 8th, third baseman Alfredo Mojica gave Houston the lead when he hit a 2-run home run. The BC had been trailing 5-4, but the two-out home run off Tortolita pitcher Jason Hubbell changed that -- and Houston went on to win.

"If we play like this, we can win a lot of games," Palmer told the Houston News.
