Halberds Defeat Men, 7-3
|
The Alloway Halberds topped the Florida Men by the score of 7-3, with the largest share of the credit going to catcher Esteban Casillas. Casillas went 4-5 with a double and 3 singles, while scoring 2 runs and driving in 2 for the Halberds. Alloway starter Jim Unknown was credited with the win after throwing 110 pitches over 7.1 innings. His record now stands at 1-0. The second-place Halberds are now 39-27, the Men 14-52.
