Fighting Dachsunds Drop Another One
Getting a good performance from right fielder Jesús González, the Phoenix Hotspur Reserves defeated the Ellenburg Fighting Dachsunds, 10-3. González was 3 for 4 with a triple and 2 singles. He scored 2 times and drove in 3 for the Hotspur Reserves. Ellenburg now has a 5-game losing streak.

González had a game-changing triple in the bottom of the first. On a 1-1 fastball from Billy Crawford, he banged a bases-clearing triple to center, giving the Hotspur Reserves a 3-0 lead. It was the 2nd triple of the year for González.

"Everyone's trying too hard," said losing manager Armando Saldaña. "If we learn to relax, we'll be fine."
