Hugo Rampley was instrumental in his team's 5-4 triumph over the Houston BC. The designated hitter went 1 for 4 with a home run and a walk. He drove in 3 runs and scored once for the Augusta Timber Hawks. Augusta reliever Rodrigo Rangel was the winner. His record is now 3-1. The losing pitcher was Decheng Sun. The 9th-place Timber Hawks are now 28-36, the BC 33-31.
The clutch at-bat in the bottom of the ninth belonged to Rampley. Facing Decheng Sun with runners on 1st and 2nd, the Augusta designated hitter had a 3-run home run. Game over, walk-off style!
