Despite a great performance by Richardson City first baseman Seishiro Nishimura, the D.C. Divided defeated the Thundercats by the score of 8-6 at The Thunder Dome. Nishimura belted 2 home runs, while adding 3 RBI and scoring twice. The Divided saw their record improve to 29-27.

The most critical at-bat came in the top of the 11th inning. With two out, Rubén Alvarado hit a 2-1 fastball from Javier Ramírez for a run-scoring single. It put D.C. in front, 7-6.

"Nothing is scripted in this game," said Alvarado.
