Great Stroke: Martínez Gets 5 Hits
Even as a kid, Ignacio Martínez said his coaches told him the key to hitting was making contact, and letting everything else flow from there. At Psychos Ballpark today, Martínez showed how well he learned that lesson.

The 21-year-old designated hitter had 5 hits in 5 at-bats for the Pennsauken Flyers, helping his team knock off the Florida Men by a score of 6-2.

"They always said, just keep your eye on the ball, don't overswing, make contact and you never know what will happen," he said. "That's all I did today."

Ignacio Martínez hit an RBI double in the 1st, doubled in the 3rd, singled in the 5th, singled in the 7th and hit an RBI single in the 9th.

Thus far this season Martínez has hit .342 with no home runs, 23 RBIs and scored 30 times.
