Timber Hawks Win in Glorious Fashion
The Augusta Timber Hawks overcame a good performance by Tortolita left fielder Stephen Blair to knock off Tortolita, 8-7, at Timber Hawks Ballpark. Blair was 3 for 4 with 3 singles and 2 walks, while scoring 2 runs. Augusta reliever Ben Fleming picked up the win, upping his record to 2-4. Javier Hernández absorbed the loss. The 9th-place Timber Hawks have won 4 straight games.

Eugene Lawrence had a productive at-bat for the Timber Hawks with one out in the bottom of the 11th. With runners on 1st and 3rd, the pinch hitter drew a walk. The at-bat was important in the Augusta win.

"Honestly, I'm not frustrated," said Tortolita manager Juan López. "The effort was great."
