Losing Streak Continues for Grey Wolves with 4-1 Loss
Júlio Martínez never let the Vancouver Grey Wolves find their groove. Throughout the game, Martínez relied on his bread and butter, his change up, in pitching the Oaks to a win. The winning pitcher was Martínez, now 2-3. He tossed 7.2 innings of 5-hit ball, while walking 1 and fanning 6. José Caballero, summoned from the bullpen, notched his 14th save.

Also contributing to the win was center fielder Ron Frazier, who stroked a 2-run home run in the top of the second for Oakland. For the game, Frazier was 2-4 with a home run, while adding 3 RBI and scoring once.

"I liked his command," said Oakland manager DAshley GoAs. "Júlio was throwing strikes."

The 7th-place Grey Wolves have lost 8 straight games.
