5 Straight Wins for Hotspur Reserves
|
Both teams had their chances, but the Phoenix Hotspur Reserves eventually prevailed at Pennsauken Park.
The Phoenix Hotspur Reserves got a stellar performance from pitcher Alejandro Guerra, who handcuffed the Pennsauken offense en route to a 4-1 win at Pennsauken Park. Jim Unknown earned the save, his 1st, for the Hotspur Reserves.
Satoshi Terada contributed an important at-bat in the top of the sixth. With runners on 1st and 2nd, he hit a 2-run double. It was one at-bat that helped send Phoenix to the win.
"We take it day by day here," said Terada, "and today was a good one for us."
The Hotspur Reserves, now 36-17, have won 5 in a row.
