Galho Excels in Alloway Win
The Alloway Halberds stymied the Florida Men, 13-2, at Ballpark of Alloway. Christovăo Galho, who had a good day at the plate, was named player of the game. He was 4-5 with 4 singles and a walk, while adding 3 RBI and scoring once for Alloway. The Halberds saw their win-loss record go to 30-21. At the same time, the Men fall to 11-40.

Williamsburg, Florida-born Dennis Clifton came through in the clutch. In the bottom of the second, with the bases loaded and the Halberds trailing 1-0, he hit a 2-run single to center to put Alloway on top.

"I like our mindset right now," said Alloway manager Santiago Vargas.
