Drummers Lose to Timber Hawks in Walk Off
Augusta withstood an impressive performance by Tortolita right fielder Alexis Smeddon to defeat the Drummers, 11-10, at Timber Hawks Ballpark. Smeddon went 3 for 4 with a triple and 2 singles, while scoring 2 runs and driving in 3. The win was credited to Arnold Berry in relief. His record improves to 1-1. Luis Cardona took the loss. Augusta is in 9th place in the Silver AAA with a record of 17-28.

Javier Valle had the critical at-bat for Augusta. With one out in the bottom of the ninth inning, he hit a sacrifice fly. It gave Augusta the 11-10 walk-off win.
