Hotspur Reserves Knock Off Jersey City at Jersey City Grounds
The Phoenix Hotspur Reserves had to overcome a big game from Jersey City center fielder Alfredo Pizarro to leave Jersey City Grounds with a 4-3 victory. Pizarro went 3-5 with a home run and a double. He drove in 2 runs and scored once. At 29-15, Phoenix is in first place in the Silver AAA.

Roberto López in the top of the fifth had a productive at-bat. With runners on 2nd and 3rd and the Hotspur Reserves leading 4-3, the Phoenix left fielder drew a walk.

"We made a couple of mistakes," said Jersey City skipper Rich Harris, "and it cost us."
