Drummers Get 5-1 Win Versus Pennsauken
|
Tortolita got an elite performance from starting pitcher Ricky Jackson in taking a 5-1 decision over the Pennsauken Flyers. The 5th-place Drummers improved to 24-18.
Ricardo Pacheco contributed an important at-bat in the top of the fourth. With the bases loaded, he hit a sacrifice fly. It was one at-bat that helped send Tortolita to the win.
"Enjoyed this one," Pacheco told the Tortolita Observer. "But it's back to work tomorrow."
