Losing Streak Continues for Men with 4-2 Loss
|
Jersey City Sun Caps starter Ricardo Rodríguez turned in a top-notch performance against the Florida Men at Jersey City Grounds. The result was a win for the Sun Caps, 4-2. Oliver Huerta earned his 10th save in 11 tries. The slumping Men have lost 8 straight.
In the bottom of the sixth, Dominique Prost had a big run-scoring single off Gordon Wiggins. With the single, the Jersey City catcher put his team in front, 3-2. He went 2 for 4 with 2 singles. He drove in 3 runs in the contest.
"We've hit a rough patch right now," said Florida skipper Brian Atkins.
