Vermont Bats Go Silent in 4-0 Loss
Houston BC starter Shawn Williams turned in a top-notch performance against the Vermont Lake Monsters at Houston Park. The result was a win for the BC, 4-0. Houston is in 4th place in the Silver AAA with a record of 20-14.

Also contributing to the win was third baseman Alfredo Mojica, who stroked a run-scoring double in the bottom of the fourth for Houston. For the game, Mojica was 2 for 4 with a double.

In postgame remarks, Williams said: "We put it together today and came out with the win -- that's the main thing."
