Drummers Deal Halberds Painful Loss
|
Tortolita Drummers starter Eduardo Bravo turned in a sterling performance against the Alloway Halberds, leading his team to a slim 3-2 win. The Drummers, at 20-14, have now won 6 straight.
Jesús Martínez was a key contributor to the win for the Drummers. In the bottom of the 12th with no one out, the light-hitting shortstop stroked a single to right. He was 1 for 6.
"We'll savor this win," Bravo told the Tortolita Observer, "then get ready for the next game."
