Flyers Fall to Sun Caps, 4-1
|
Jersey City used a superb performance from starting pitcher Chris Sommer to down the Pennsauken Flyers, 4-1. The Sun Caps, at 19-13, sit in third place in the Silver AAA.
Also contributing to the win was shortstop Gustavo Fuentes, who stroked a run-scoring single in the top of the third for Jersey City. For the game, Fuentes was 1-4 with a walk.
"If you pitch well, you give yourself some opportunities," said Jersey City Sun Caps manager Rich Harris.
