The Tortolita Drummers and Houston BC obliged those fans who came to Drummers Ballpark looking for a good time.

Houston left fielder Habbo Allaart had a terrific game. He went 2-4 with a home run and a walk, while adding 4 RBI and scoring once, but it still wasn't enough to get his team a win. Tortolita beat the BC, 9-8. Allaart was named the player of the game despite the loss. Tortolita has run its win streak to 4 in a row.

Blair Sweeny's at-bat in the bottom of the third was significant, coming with the bases loaded and the game tied, 3-3. The Tortolita designated hitter hit a 2-run single off Mike Owens to put the Drummers up.

"It wasn't a pretty victory," said Sweeny, "but we got it done."
