The Houston BC eeked out a 2-1 win versus the Phoenix Hotspur Reserves at Houston Park. Nobody did more than pitcher Millard Taylor, who captured player of the game honors. The winner was Houston reliever Katsuyoshi Takuda, now 2-1. The loser was Gabriel Hernández. Houston goes to 19-10, Phoenix to 16-13.

Habbo Allaart had the critical at-bat for Houston. With one out in the bottom of the ninth inning, he drew a walk, driving in 1 run. It gave Houston the 2-1 walk-off win.

"There's nothing like the buzz of a walk-off win," Taylor said.
