Hotspur Reserves Jolt Sun Caps with Late Rally
|
Alejandro Guerra pitched a gem to lead Phoenix to a 2-1 victory over the Jersey City Sun Caps. Phoenix, at 11-10, sits in 6th place in the Silver AAA.
One impactful at-bat came in the bottom of the eighth inning. With a runner on 3rd, the batter, Pepe Reyes, hit a sacrifice fly. It made the score 2-1, Phoenix, and helped them go on to win.
"Can't say enough about our pitching," said Reyes.
