Extra-Inning Walk-Off Win for Patriots

The Boston Patriots wiggled past the Vancouver Grey Wolves, 2-1, at Dunkin Donuts Park. Boston pitcher Tom Reynolds earned player of the game honors. Boston reliever Jeff Territt was the winner. His record is now 3-1. The losing pitcher was Alfonso Vera. The Grey Wolves, now 18-34, have lost 4 in a row.
The clutch at-bat came in the bottom of the tenth. That's when Boston first baseman Terry Armstrong, facing Alfonso Vera, had a run-scoring single. It gave the Patriots the 2-1 win.
"We did enough to win," said Armstrong.
