Guerra 'Lights Out' in Phoenix Win
|
Alejandro Guerra pitched a near no-hitter in leading Phoenix to a 4-0 triumph over the Houston BC. Things have gone south in a hurry for the defending champion Hotspur Reserves, who notched only their 6th win in 15 games.
Guerra made it look effortless. He scattered 1 hit over 8 innings, while racking up 11 strikeouts. The Phoenix left-hander encountered little resistance from the Houston hitters. His season record is now 1-1.
"We played a good game and came out on top," said Guerra.
