Flyers Win Behind Lucero, 3-0
|
The Pennsauken Flyers started the 2026 season win an impressive 3-0 win against the Vermont Lake Monsters at Pennsauken Park. José Lucero, who is rated as the 20th best prospect by BNN, was named player of the game.
Lucero, who was born in Santa Teresa, Venezuela, threw 106 pitches over 8.2 innings, while allowing no earned runs.
"I made some pitches when I had to," said Lucero.
