The Targaryens grabbed a 3-2 win at Royse City Stadium, overcoming a fine effort from Athletic Club KC pitcher Tim Ritchie. Ritchie went 7 innings and allowed 2 earned runs. Royse City reliever Frank Castle was credited with the win, to go to 1-0. Jeff Krause took the loss for Athletic Club KC. The Royse City Targaryens keep rolling, raising their record to 2-1.
Carlos Pacheco had the critical at-bat for Royse City. With one out in the bottom of the tenth inning, he hit a walk-off run-scoring double. It gave Royse City the 3-2 walk-off win.
After the game, Royse City manager John Williams applauded the team's effort. "They busted their tails out there," he said.
