Dodos Shut Out Battlekings
|
Pitcher Roberto Gómez was sensational for the Hialeah Dodos in his team's 7-0 triumph over the Naperville Battlekings. Gómez received player of the game honors, while picking up the win. The Dodos go to 44-58, putting them 9th in the Menard's AAA.
Early in the game, designated hitter Zander Bailey had a bases-clearing double for Hialeah. It was his 7th double of the season and put the Dodos on top, 3-0.
