Golden Cranes Stay Hot, Beat Dodos
|
Riding the 3-hit performance of the 24-year old right fielder Rubén Campos, the Santa Barbara Golden Cranes stymied the Hialeah Dodos, 5-0. Santa Barbara has now won 5 games in a row.
Campos came through with some timely hitting for Santa Barbara. With the score 1-0 in the bottom of the first and one down, Campos hit a first pitch fastball for a 3-run home run. It was his 11th home run of the season -- and a big reason the Golden Cranes managed to win.
"I'm just happy to help the team win," Campos told the Santa Barbara Today.
