Belugas Pull Back to .500 with Win over Red Pandas
|
Brinkley Belugas starter Raúl Luna was in a groove as he led his team to a win over the Sioux Falls Red Pandas, 8-7. Jim Unknown locked down his 1st save. The 6th-place Red Pandas have lost 6 straight games.
Manny Carbajal's at-bat in the top of the eighth was significant for the Belugas. Coming to the plate with runners on 2nd and 3rd and Brinkley leading 6-1, the left fielder grounded out, driving in 1 run.
"We swung the bats pretty good throughout the lineup," said Brinkley skipper Melvin Baldwin.
