Belugas Fall Short at Hialeah
|
The Brinkley Belugas got a superb performance from pitcher Chae-seong Kim. Still, it wasn't enough to beat Hialeah. The Dodos won the game, 3-2. In spite of the loss, Kim was named the player of the game. He threw 6 innings of shutout ball. The Dodos saw their win-loss record go to 32-35. At the same time, the Belugas fall to 31-36.
Gerald Sims was the walk-off hero for Hialeah. With the game tied in the bottom of the ninth, the Hialeah pinch hitter hit a dramatic run-scoring single to send the teams home.
