Thrilling Walk-Off Win for Golden Cranes
The home squad pulled out a thrilling walk-off win at Crane Field today.

The Santa Barbara Golden Cranes defeated the Scranton Supernovas, 6-5, at Crane Field. Santa Barbara third baseman Wilbert Carter was named player of the game for his superb performance. He was 1-3 with a home run and a walk, while adding 2 RBI and scoring once. The win was credited to Alfredo Martínez in relief. His record improves to 2-1. Pedro Garza took the loss.

Salvador Noriega was a key contributor to the win for the Golden Cranes. In the bottom of the ninth with no one out, the light-hitting center fielder stroked a single to center. He went 2-4 with 2 singles, while scoring 2 times.

Noriega described the clubhouse as "kind of rowdy" after the game.

The Golden Cranes, at 36-28, sit in third place in the Menard's AAA.
