A 4-RBI performance from shortstop Arnold Giroux, who leads the 3AAA in triples with 4, led the Brinkley Belugas to a 8-3 win over the Naperville Battlekings. Jim Unknown picked up the save for Brinkley, his 1st of the year. At 27-31, Brinkley is in 9th place in the Menard's AAA.

Brinkley took the lead in the top of the fifth when Giroux hit a run-scoring single. His 45th hit made the score 3-2, Brinkley.
