Belugas Get Past Hialeah for 4-2 Win
Brinkley played host to Hialeah at the friendly confines of Belugas Ballpark.

The Brinkley Belugas scored a 4-2 win versus the Hialeah Dodos at Belugas Ballpark. Brinkley pitcher Jean-François Chapon nabbed top player honors in the tight contest. Earning his 6th save of the year was Ramón García.

Brinkley took a 3-2 lead in the bottom of the eighth inning, when Eric Porter hit a clutch 2-run home run to bring Belugas fans to their feet.

"At the end of the day, it's always about your starting pitcher," said Brinkley skipper Melvin Baldwin.

Brinkley, at 22-23, occupies 6th place in the Menard's AAA.
