Dodos Win at Brinkley, 6-3

Fans who gathered at Belugas Ballpark saw a good contest between the Hialeah Dodos and Brinkley Belugas.
The Hialeah Dodos defeated the Brinkley Belugas, 6-3, in M3L Triple A action at Belugas Ballpark, with Hialeah pitcher Earnest Casey named player of the game. Casey, now 3-2, was the winner. In 8 innings, he gave up 6 hits, while striking out 2, walking 4, and allowing 3 earned runs.
Luis Manuel Flores, who is rated as the 82nd best prospect by BNN, aided the Hialeah cause with a run-scoring walk in the top of the first. For the game, the third baseman was 1-2 with a walk and was hit by a pitch.
"We take it day by day here," said Casey, "and today was a good one for us."
The Dodos improve their record to 20-24 with the win over Brinkley.
