Belugas Take Tight Tilt
The Brinkley Belugas did just enough to secure a 4-3 victory over the Hialeah Dodos at Belugas Ballpark. Nobody did more than pitcher Chae-seong Kim, who captured player of the game honors. Kim went 7.1 innings to notch the win. He scattered 8 hits, walked 3, and struck out 8. His record improves to 5-2. Brinkley is 6th in the Menard's AAA with a record of 21-22.

In the bottom of the 5th, the Belugas grabbed the lead on a two-out home run by Joreão Canosa. Brinkley at the time was trailing 2-1, but Canosa's 2-run home run off Lucas Begay put his team in front.

"Chae-seong was throwing strikes, locating well," said Brinkley manager Melvin Baldwin.
