Golden Cranes Topple Belugas with Late Rally

Brinkley designated hitter Joreão Canosa had a terrific game. He was 2-4 with 2 singles and a walk. He scored 2 runs, but it still wasn't enough to get his team a win. Santa Barbara beat the Belugas, 7-5. Canosa was named the player of the game despite the loss. Alfredo Martínez got credit for the save for Santa Barbara. It was his 8th of the year. Santa Barbara has now won 5 straight.
Manny Rosário was a key contributor to the win for the Golden Cranes. In the top of the eighth with two out, the light-hitting second baseman stroked a single to center. He went 2 for 4 with 2 singles, while adding 3 RBI.
