Battlekings Turn Back Hamilton, 6-1

The Naperville Battlekings downed the Hamilton Coyotes, 6-1, at Constellation Ballpark. The Battlekings were led by Stanley Belote, who captured player of the game honors. He belted 2 home runs. He drove in 3 runs and scored twice. The winner was Gordon Neugebauer, who threw 88 pitches over 5.2 innings. The right-hander was charged with no runs on 4 hits. Naperville, at 16-23, occupies 10th place in the Menard's AAA.
