Belugas Pull Back to Even with 7-5 Victory
|
A 3-RBI performance from catcher Zuberi Mccray, who is tied for 10th in the 3AAA in doubles with 8, led the Brinkley Belugas to a 7-5 win over the Sioux Falls Red Pandas. The save went to Ramón García, his 5th this season. With the win, Brinkley has a record of 19-19. Sioux Falls falls to 15-23.
Mccray had a game-changing home run in the top of the second. On a 2-2 changeup from Michael Fletcher, he banged a 3-run home run to right, giving the Belugas a 3-0 lead. It was the 5th home run of the year for Mccray.
"Win or lose, we pick each other up in this clubhouse," Mccray told the Brinkley Times.
