The Red Pandas took Hialeah pitcher Lucas Begay's best shot and still were able to claim a win at The Bamboo Forest. The final score was 3-0. Begay went 8 innings and allowed 3 earned runs. The 10th-place Red Pandas improved to 14-20.
Sioux Falls took the lead in the bottom of the sixth. With one out and the bases empty, Jim Allen stroked a solo home run to make it 1-0, Red Pandas.
"I'll probably toss and turn tonight," Hialeah manager Tom Hollingsworth said following the tough loss.
