Belugas Pull Off Thrilling Win in Extras
Brinkley starter Raúl Luna had a strong outing against the Salt Lake City Buzz at Spirits Stadium. The right-hander was a big part of his team's 4-3 win. Jim Unknown earned the save for Brinkley, his 1st of the year. The 9th-place Belugas lifted their record to 14-17.

Peter Paul had the most critical at-bat for Brinkley, coming in the top of the 11th inning with two out and runners on 1st and 2nd. Paul hit a 0-2 fastball from Jim Unknown for a run-scoring single. It put Brinkley in front, 4-3.

"We came out with the short end of the stick," said Salt Lake City skipper Enrique Zumaya.
