The Sioux Falls Red Pandas defeated the Naperville Battlekings, 7-3. Earning player of the game honors was center fielder Mauro López, who went 2 for 4 with a home run, a double, and a walk, while scoring 3 runs. Javier López picked up the win in relief, improving his record to 2-0. Chris Hayes was tagged with the loss. At 13-18, the Red Pandas are currently 10th in the Menard's AAA.
Also having an impact was shortstop Pedro Cruz, who stroked a run-scoring single in the top of the first for Sioux Falls. For the game, Cruz went 2-4 with 2 singles.
