Boston second baseman Ki-tak Im picked up 4 ribbies while helping his team beat back the D.C. Divided, 5-4. Cameron Frye picked up the win with 7 innings of work. He allowed 4 earned runs on 9 hits, while walking 1 and striking out 6. On the season, he is now 1-0. The third-place Patriots lifted their record to 17-13.

Im had a game-changing single in the bottom of the sixth. On a first pitch fastball from Leslie Brooks, he banged a run-scoring single to center, giving the Patriots a 5-4 lead. It was the 37th hit of the year for Im.

"Some wins are easy, some are difficult, but either way we come to the ballpark ready to work hard every day," Im told the Boston Chronicle.
