Longnecks Get Past Sioux Falls for 4-2 Win
|
Bloomington right-hander Pedro Lara made an effective start against the Sioux Falls Red Pandas at The Bamboo Forest, leading his team to a 4-2 win. Lara got the win, improving to 4-1. He allowed 7 hits and walked 4 over 8 innings. Lara allowed 2 earned runs. Enrique López closed the game out for Bloomington, earning his 1st save.
The most critical at-bat came in the top of the ninth inning. With one out, Fernando Rivera hit a 1-0 fastball from Orlando Ángel for a 2-run home run. It put Bloomington in front, 4-2.
