Scranton Bats Go Silent in 3-0 Loss
|
The Salt Lake City Buzz got a magnificent performance from pitcher Russ Horne, who muffled the Scranton offense en route to a tight 3-0 Buzz win at Nuclear Stadium. Salt Lake City is now 20-9, Scranton 14-15.
The Buzz had to work out of trouble in the bottom of the seventh. The score was 2-0, Salt Lake City, with one out. But Scranton, with a runner on 1st, had mounted a threat. Alonso Solís dug in at the plate. But on a 2-2 cutter, he flied out.
