Belugas Ballpark was the site for M3L Triple A action featuring the Sioux Falls Red Pandas and Brinkley Belugas.

The Brinkley Belugas eeked out a 6-3 win versus the Sioux Falls Red Pandas at Belugas Ballpark. Nobody did more than pitcher Jean-François Chapon, who captured player of the game honors. Chapon got the win, improving to 1-4. He allowed 9 hits and walked 1 over 7 innings. Chapon allowed 2 earned runs.

The Belugas took the lead in the bottom of the second when Randy Tucker banged a two-out double. Brinkley had been trailing 1-0, but Tucker hit a 2-2 slider from Taro Ohayashi for a bases-clearing double.

"We need to string a few more wins like this one together," said Chapon.

Today's win puts Brinkley at 8-16, while Sioux Falls falls to 11-13.
